Rolex Submariner 114060

Picture
My pick for the Watch of the month ( December 2017 ) is my Rolex Submariner 114060. This timepiece has been in the collection for 2 years straight and is a definite keeper. I recently checked Pre-Owned Rolex prices and they are selling for close to what I paid full retail for this watch from an Authorized Dealer..More Info below

The Rolex Submariner 114060 was introduced in 2012, and represents the return of the beloved date-less Sub. This Submariner features Rolex's Cerachrom bezel, maxi dial with larger hour markers, and the latest case design that, while still 40mm in diameter, the 114060 introduces chunkier lugs and a solid link oyster bracelet. The no date Submariner shares a history with the first models introudced in the mid 1950s, which had simple dials without date complications. The Rolex Submariner is constructed of the best corrosion resistant 904l steel, and featrues a Rolex built, chronometer grade automatic movement. The water resistance rating is 300 thanks to the Triplock system in the screw in crown, and best of all, looks great pretty much in every setting dressed up or casual.

The main component of a mechanical movement is the mainspring, a spring that gradually unwinds and transmits energy. A mechanical watch will keep accurate time despite requiring winding up if it's manual. ... Inside an automatic watch sits a small weighted rotor that has to oscillate in order to wind the mainspring.
